Information we collect

When you use Resumely, we collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, resume content and job preferences. We also collect usage data, such as pages visited, features used and device information, to improve the service.

The Resumely browser extension reads a page only when you open it. On a Greenhouse, Lever or Ashby application form it reads the question labels, the choices and the job text, and sends them to Resumely to match your saved answers and draft replies. It never sends what you type into the form, never submits the form, and never fills pay, demographic or legal questions.

How we use it

We use your data to provide and improve our resume editor, job matching and career tools. Your resume content is processed by our AI to generate suggestions, ATS scores and tailored recommendations. We do not use your personal data to train general-purpose AI models.

Sharing and third parties

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with trusted service providers necessary to operate the platform: our database and authentication provider (Supabase) and AI processing services (OpenAI, Google). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.

Storage and security

Your data is stored using industry-standard encryption. Our database uses Row Level Security (RLS) so users can only access their own data. All connections are encrypted with TLS.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your personal data at any time. Export your resumes, delete your account, or request a full data export by writing to us. We honor GDPR, CCPA and equivalent privacy regulations.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use analytics cookies to understand how people use the platform. Non-essential cookies can be disabled in your browser settings.
