1. Information We Collect
When you use Resumely.ai, we collect information you provide directly — including your name, email address, resume content, and job preferences. We also collect usage data such as pages visited, features used, and device information to improve our service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to provide and improve our AI-powered resume building, job matching, and career tools. Your resume content is processed by our AI models to generate suggestions, ATS scores, and tailored recommendations. We never use your personal data to train general-purpose AI models.
3. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with trusted service providers necessary to operate our platform — including our database and authentication provider (Supabase) and AI processing services (OpenAI, Google). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Our database infrastructure uses Row Level Security (RLS) to ensure users can only access their own data. All connections are encrypted via TLS/SSL.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can export your resumes, delete your account, or request a full data export by contacting us. We honor GDPR, CCPA, and equivalent privacy regulations.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use analytics cookies to understand how users interact with our platform. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.
7. Contact Us
If you have questions about this privacy policy or your data, contact us at privacy@resumely.ai or visit our contact page.
